God is Always With You

I went to see a dear lady in the hospital today. She and her family are going through a very difficult time and have been in a dire situation for about 30 days now. With each day that passes, each moment of improvement and fall back, and each slow tick of the clock…

God is with them.

A young man faces some challenges in the very near future. It’s a fight of sorts. He must defend and move forward for the sake of his family. With each decision, each unpleasant situation, and each painful encounter…

God is with him

This message…

God is always with us,

is a truth that we are taught before the trials, before the battles, before the dark hours in life arrive.

Take for instance Joshua – the one who lead the Children of Israel into the promise land. Before they were defeated at AI and he wondered why, before he was deceived by the Gibenites, before he cried out to God in desperation and the Sun stood still, before all the conflicts, battles and hardships he was to face as he lead the people into the promise land God said to him…

“Be strong and courageous, Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

Why does God want us to know this before the tough times come?

Because the adventure God has placed before us to do, to accomplish, often seems daunting especially if we see what is ahead and we understand the risks we are taking…

and it is important to know that God will be with us.

It drives away fear

It stirs courage in our souls

It says go for it!

What are you waiting on?

God is with you!

So step out, saddle up your horse and blaze a trail!

God is with you.

God is with you
